About the Grant
The California Energy Commission has issued a Notice of Proposed Award for the California Schools Healthy Air, Plumbing, and Efficiency Ventilation Program Grant in the amount of $830,310.00 to Rim of the World Unified School District. The funds will assist in the cost of assessment, maintenance and repair of ventilation systems, installation of carbon dioxide monitors, and replacement of non-compliant plumbing, fixtures, and appliances.
Outcome
The Board of Trustees unanimously approved the grant at the May 16, 2024 Board Meeting in Open Session. This grant will support the following District Goals:
4 – Safe, Well-Maintained and Secure Facilities
6 – Budget, Infrastructure, and Resources
